Shape shifter, dimension hopper, gender bender, glitch in reality.
I see the world with severe astygmatism and I can barely see the world.
Matrix rules are just that: when nothing is real, how do you and bend and move
through the optics of a made up reality.
Katie Hyunah Park (b. Abington, PA) is a Korean American artist, working across photography, video, installation, drawing, and sculpture.
She is a recent graduate of the Cooper Union where she earned her BFA, concentrating in photography.
She is interested in the merging of layers and dimensions through and with multiple mediums of art making. Inspired and interrogated by religion, race, gender, and identity, her work is created in the in between-ness of mediums and realities, the attempting to find the space where there are no such things as rules and unstable binaries can turn into regurgitated fun.
She works as a videographer, video editor, and studio assistant for multiple artists in NYC.
